Interested parties include municipal officials from several states, corporate and sustainability leaders from various retailers and manufacturers, as well as waste service providers and consultants.

The Martinsburg HEBioT Facility will process up to 110,000 tons per year of municipal solid waste while diverting as much as 80% of what enters the facility from landfills. The 56,000 square foot Facility is completely enclosed and fully automated with no waste being exposed to the outside environment and no workers in direct contact to the waste processing. The Facility utilizes a patented high efficiency mechanical and biological treatment process ("HEBioT Process") that produces an EPA recognized solid recovered fuel that can be used as a partial replacement for coal in various applications.
